Material Selection & Performance
A: PTFE (Teflon) features an extremely low coefficient of friction (self-lubricating), a wide temperature range of -70°C to +260°C, and strong chemical inertness (acid/alkali resistance). It is non-absorbent and has high dielectric strength, making it ideal for high-purity semiconductor media transfer, medical precision dosing, and marine salt-spray environments. PA and PU tend to harden and age under high temperatures or chemical exposure.
A: We have dedicated clean production zones for different industries. For PTFE tubes used in semiconductor and medical fields, we extrude and package in a Class 1000 cleanroom to ensure zero dust and oil residue. Spring clamps and cables are produced in precision stamping workshops, strictly following ISO 14644 contamination control to prevent cross-contamination.
Customization & MOQ
A: Yes. For standard steel wire conduits or straight PTFE tubes, we support orders starting from 1000 meter or a few pieces. For custom cable end-fittings or shaped PTFE tubes requiring tooling, we recommend a pilot order of 500-1,000pcs to share mold costs, but terms are negotiable.
A: The standard lead time is 25-30 working days. If we have matching existing tooling, sampling can be shortened to 3-5 days. Our team will conduct a Design for Manufacturability (DFM) analysis within 24 hours of receiving drawings and provide optimization suggestions.
Certifications & Compliance
A: We strictly manufacture and test our products in accordance with the Chinese automotive industry standard QC/T 209-2007 “Flexible shaft for automobile and motorcycle”. This standard, administered by the National Technical Committee of Auto Standardization, specifies structural dimensions, technical requirements, test methods, and inspection rules for flexible shafts (including push-pull cable type products). On this basis, we can also conduct more stringent type tests upon request (e.g., for new product finalization, design changes, or material modifications) to ensure long-term reliability for OEM.
A: The standard mainly covers: 1) Structure and installation dimensions: ensuring compatibility with vehicle interfaces; 2) Performance requirements: including durability, temperature resistance, and load efficiency; 3) Test methods: defining testing procedures simulating actual working conditions; 4) Inspection rules: specifying items and judgment criteria for routine and type inspections. For push-pull cables, we additionally focus on stroke efficiency (≥90%) and push-pull rigidity testing to suit different applications (e.g., door locks, seat adjustments).
A: Yes, we are certified under IATF 16949:2016, the automotive industry quality management system standard. This system is a market access requirement for the automotive supply chain, covering process control, failure prevention, and continuous improvement. We maintain complete process validation documentation (e.g., PFMEA, Control Plans, PPAP) to meet the audit requirements of OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.
A: Our products can be aligned with international standards upon customer request or customer-specified OEM corporate standards. We also support third-party testing (e.g., SGS, TÜV) and can provide material certificates, RoHS/REACH compliance declarations, and flame-retardant test reports based on target market requirements.
After-sales
A: Due to PTFE’s lubricity, standard blades tend to slip and produce uneven cuts. We recommend using dedicated thin grinding wheels or high-speed toothless saws with sharp blades. We also offer pre-chamfering / flaring services (just note on your order) for quick connection to push-fit fittings, preventing leakage from end burrs.
A: We uphold a “Zero Tolerance for Quality Issues” policy. Once confirmed as our manufacturing or material defect, we respond within 48 hours. Retained samples are kept for every shipment for full traceability.
